Suntech president to speak at EFEF

Jerry Stokes, the president of renewable energy company Suntech, is set to be one of the major speakers at a workshop which has been announced for an industry conference this month.

He will be taking part in a session on new energy solutions, which asks whether or not they are cost-effective, at the European Future Energy Forum in London on October 20th 2010.

Other renewable energy experts set to speak at the workshop include Satoshi Ogiso, chief engineer of product planning for the Toyota Motor Corporation, and Dipal Barua, founder and chairman of the Bright Green Energy Foundation.

Manager of global renewable energy policy for WWF International Jean-Philippe Denruyter and chief executive officer at IDE - India Amitabha Sadangi complete the line-up of panellists.

The European Future Energy Forum gets underway at London's ExCel Centre on October 19th and runs until the 21st, with European energy ministers Chris Huhne and Pedro Marin among the major names set to appear at the event.
