SENER to showcase new technology at EFEF

A major European energy company is to show off its latest technological advancements at an exhibition and conference later this week.

SENER will be among the firms heading to the European Future Energy Forum (EFEF), which gets underway at the ExCel Centre in London tomorrow (October 19th 2010) and closes on Thursday (October 21st).

The company is currently working on three new solar power plants, all of which are located in Spain.

EFEF's organisers explained: "The three plants, with cylindrical-parabolic collector technology and 50 MW of power each, could be in operation by the end of 2012."

SENER is set to be joined at the major European energy event by Torresol Energy, which is thought to be one of the most innovative companies currently working in the industry.

Headline speakers at the EFEF this week include European energy ministers such as the UK's Chris Huhne, Pedro Marin from Spain and Carlos Zorrinho of Portugal.
