The Cleantech Exhibition

Alongside the conference will be an international Cleantech exhibition where we are looking for companies who have 'Cutting Edge' ideas and technology to present their products and services. This is an opportunity for you to meet government decision makers, industry leaders, consultants, advisors, investors, purchasers and journalists.

Within the Cleantech Exhibition programme there will also be opportunities for visitors to the exhibition to attend knowledge transfer sessions related to Energy Efficiency. Subjects for debate are likely to include:
 

  • Reducing the dependence on fossil fuels through energy efficiency in cities and transport - what are the latest cutting edge ideas and solutions? How do we practically implement through town planning and retrofitting?
  • How do we plan and fund low carbon transport alternatives with incentives that will encourage public use?
  • Lessons to be learnt from Masdar City, the Swiss Minergie Project and other case studies
If you are a business or an organisation that has solutions and business opportunities for the renewable energy or environmental technology market then this is a unique chance for you to present your products and services to an international market who are looking to invest.

What is Cleantech?
 

Cleantech is a term used to describe technologies, processes, products or services designed to reduce our impact on the environment through renewable energy, energy efficiency, clean transport, sustainable resource management and emission reduction. If you have products or services that you wish to promote within this sector then this is the exhibition for you.

The exhibition is free of charge for visitors to attend and we aim to offer a number of ways for visitors to get the most out of the time they spend at EFEF, by offering free seminars and networking opportunities. In 2010, these features included:
 

  • The Masdar Future Urban Zone  - aimed at visitors looking for solutions in green building and energy efficient urban design. This area included a programme of workshops with a series of presentations by Masdar, exhibits displaying the latest information about Masdar City and a number of models showing innovative designs by architects from around the world
  • The Siemens Green Technology Theatre - focused on solutions for the new energy age from power generation, transmission, distribution and consumption
  • The Schneider Electric Energy Efficiency Theatre - focused on solving the energy challenge through behaviour change and new technology
  • The UKTI Igloo - built on the conference themes and discussions with a focus on UK case studies and perspectives
  • The Transport for London Eco Transport Showcase - featured a gallery style display on the initiatives that London is making alongside a number of examples of low carbon vehicles

If you want to make the most of your time at EFEF and want to schedule a series of meetings, but don't have room for a private meeting area on your stand, then there are a limited number of meeting rooms available to hire. You can either pay per half day, full day or for the duration of the event.

The rooms will be 4 metres x 4 metres and include 1 round table, 6 chairs, a flip chart and pens, wireless internet connection and a power socket. Subject to availability, the costs for the meeting rooms are as follows:
